Liquid organic hydrogen storage (LOHS)

 

These products are developed based on our patented LOHS technology which allows hydrogen to be stored in liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHCs) at room temperature and ambient pressure after hydrogenation.

Main specifications 

  • Hydrogen storage density:  5.0 - 6.0 wt%, (~ 50 kg/m³)

  • Intake pressure:  3.0 - 7.0 MPa

  • Hydrogenation temperature: 120 - 180 °C

  • Purity: better than 99.999%

  • Dehydrogenation temperature: 120 - 200 °C

We can optimise catalysts and LOHCs based on customer requirements, while maintaining optimal LOHS performance.  We have supply custom-designed, close-loop LOHS systems with automatic control of hydrogen loading, storage, and unloading.  The loading and unloading rate of LOHS can be calibrated to your requirements.  This technology can also be optionally combined with our hydrogen safety sensing and monitoring system.
